Problem

When using 3ds Max 2014 the extracted timeliner tasks don't generate any animation. This is caused by a bug in the Revit link process by 3ds Max. The script can't work around this. You can however!

Solution

Instead of linking the Revit file in 3ds Max you should open the Revit file in Revit itself and export it as fbx. Link or import that fbx in 3ds Max and apply the timeliner tasks. You should now have an animation.

Background

The script relies on the presence of certain ID's in the object names in 3ds Max. When linking a Revit file in 3ds Max 2014 these ID's aren't placed in the objects themselves. This appears to be a bug in the 3ds Max 2014 Revit link funtionality.
